Firearms Licensing
New LTC/FID applications will be accepted by appointment ONLY and Renewal LTC/FID applications shall be submitted by mail or drop off at 685 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA 02721. Please read carefully as missing information will delay processing.
APPLICATION
Applications are to be completed prior to your scheduled appointment. Please check both the front and backside of the application to ensure completion. All applicants must also sign and date the Authorization form/Acknowledgment of the limits on the use of deadly force.
Applicants are urged to carefully consider Question (4) found on page 2 of the application.
The question refers to any criminal charges brought forth against you, in the court of law, regardless of the outcome. If you appeared in court as a defendant and the charges brought against you were filed, dismissed, CWOF (continued without a finding), sealed, etc., you must answer “YES” to the question and provide as much detail as possible. It is your responsibility to inform the licensing authority.
Be advised that if your application is not completed truthfully or accurately, your LTC or FID request will automatically be denied.
LICENSING FEE
Applicants must submit a State regulated non-refundable fee with completed application. Personal checks, bank checks, and money orders are the only forms of payment accepted. Cash is NOT accepted.
