File a Compliment

You may file a complaint against an officer in the following ways:

  • Report the incident in person, by email, by mail or by phone to an on-duty police supervisor.
    It is preferable to file a complaint in person with a Police Supervisor at the station.

    • Police supervisors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To request to speak with a police supervisor regarding an allegation of misconduct, call (508) 676-8511.​
  • Report the incident directly to the Office of Professional Standards.

    • To make a complaint directly to an investigator in the Office of Professional Standards, call (508) 676-8511, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.​

  • Report the incident to the Mayor's Office.

    • To make a complaint directly to the Mayor’s Office, call (508) 324-2000 and they will contact the police department on your behalf.​

  • Report the incident on the Fall River Police Department website.

    • Use the electronic form below to file a complaint against an employee of the Fall River Police Department.  Your submission will be forwarded to the Office of Professional Standards.  Please complete the form in its entirety to ensure that your complaint can be properly investigated. ​
