File a Compliment or Complaint

You may file a complaint against an officer in the following ways:

  • Report the incident in person, by email, by mail or by phone to an on-duty police supervisor.

    • Police supervisors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To request to speak with a police supervisor regarding an allegation of misconduct, call 508-676-8511.​

  • Report the incident directly to the Office of Professional Standards.

    • To make a complaint directly to an investigator in the Office of Professional Standards, call 508-324-2810, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.​

  • Report the incident to the Mayor's Office.

    • To make a complaint directly to the Mayor’s Office, call (508)-324-2000 and they will contact the police department on your behalf.​
