Fall River Police Department Honor Guard
685 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Mass. 02723
The Fall River Police Honor Guard was established in 1987 and consists of a team of 13 police officers.
In addition to each officer’s duty assignment, each team member volunteers additional time as a member
of the Honor Guard team. Under the direction of Sgt. Daniel J. Ahaesy, the team is dedicated to demonstrating
a higher standard of professionalism while representing the Fall River Police Department in parades, city
functions, and funeral services for fallen police officers and retirees. These officers train monthly,
practicing synchronized marching drills, funeral ceremonies, flag folding and presentation while proudly
representing the men and women of the Fall River Police Department.
The Fall River Police Honor Guard has received numerous awards for marching competitions to include:
First Place at the Newburyport Yankee Homecoming Parade and most recently accepting Third Place for its
performance in Adquidneck Island’s National Police Parade in Newport, Rhode Island.
